Although magnetic therapies have divided opinion on their effectivness, use can be dated all the way back to the Egyptian pharaohs. It is said to boost circulation and balances harmful ions caused by modern lifestyles, negative ions. Many arthritis and migraine pain suffers say they get relief by wearing magnetic bracelets. Also a 1974 study by Albert Roy Davis, Ph.D, showed magnets to kill cancer cells in animals. While there is no proof that it can cure cancer in humans, the use of magnetic bracelets has been recommended by some as an additional element in the treatment of cancer patients.
